This week at Falcon Cranes we erected one of our Comansa CJ140 Tower Cranes at Logan Central, for our friends at GCB Constructions.

The project involves the expansion of Logan Hospital, to include a new mental health care facility. According to Steven Miles MP, the dedicated space will enable mental health workers to deliver appropriate, safe and personalised treatment for patients who present to the Emergency Department experiencing a mental health crisis.

We’d like to say a big thank you to East Coast Cranes for their mobile crane assistance on the day to erect our tower crane – check out the progress pictures below!

If you or anyone you know is feeling suicidal or suffering from depression or anxiety, there are free resources you can access for help, such as Mates in Construction who offer Industry-backed, research-based, suicide prevention and support in the construction industry.

Other great resources include Beyond Blue, an organisation that provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live – and Lifeline, a free suicide prevention hotline that you can call for crisis support 24/7 on 13 11 14.
